T-Fal TT7461002 Toaster
This is one of the most expensive toasters that I have reviewed (estimated retail price of about $60), and while I normally say that any toaster which costs more than $40 is overpriced, I will make an exception and say that the price is reasonable for this product. In the first place, most toaster models accommodate only 2 slices. This product is good for 4. Secondly, the most common complaint about slot toasters is that they are quite slow. This one however, is commended for getting the desired toast in a short span of time. Plus, the build is very durable and presentable, with a stainless steel exterior and an industrial style to its design. While I would most likely get a cheaper 2-slice toaster, nevertheless, I wouldn’t feel cheated out of my money if I bought this 4-slice model instead.
Advantages:
- The product gets the desired amount of toast in a short span of time. Not many toasters can do this.
- Good build, great eye-catching design and easy to clean.
Disadvantages:
- At the end of the day, you are still spending $50 for a machine that toasts bread, albeit faster than most toasters can do. This doesn’t make sense if you are single and living alone, but if you're making breakfast for a family every day then it could be a big timesaver.
- There are some complaints that the toaster does not give an even amount of toasting. But then again, this is pretty much standard for all toasters.
