Farberware FAC250T Toaster

By and large, this toaster performs well enough and it looks really spiffy with a slick design.  However, I think it is probably too overpriced at $40 considering that all it really does is toast two slices of bread.  There are cheaper toasters out there with similar features and just as satisfactory performance.  The toaster is easy to clean with its stainless-steel exteriors, it has a removable crumb tray, and its slots are wide enough to toast bagels.  It only has three toast controls:  Light, Medium and Dark.  It also supports a defrost function.  Again, there’s nothing overly fancy or innovative about this toaster.  While it is reliable enough for its purposes, I still think it’s overpriced.

Farberware FAC250T

Advantages:

  1. It’s a good enough product that gives an even toast and is reliable and durable.
  2. The stainless steel design makes it easy to clean.  Plus, it looks spiffy.

Disadvantages:

  1. Personally, I don’t like paying an estimated retail price of $40 for a simple machine that toasts two slices of bread.  I think it’s not reasonable.
  2. The toaster’s lever ought to make it easier to push the bread farther off from the slot.  It’s hard to reach in and fish out small pieces of toast.
