Back to Basics TEM500 Toaster and Egg Poacher
I have to admit, this idea is pretty innovative for me. A Toaster which not only makes toast, but can also cook eggs and pre-warm meats. It’s a total sandwich package all in one. Considering its estimated retail price of $30, I’d consider it a very reasonable buy. Performance wise, it does what it’s supposed to do, which is to toast bread evenly, as well cook eggs in a variety of means: poach, steam-boil, and scramble. I also love the interesting look of the product. It’s guaranteed to be a conversation piece in any kitchen. Plus, it is so easy to use that you can teach your kids how to do it. If you want breakfast taken care of with one machine, this is what you need. This is definitely a must buy in my book.
Advantages:
- This product is such a big time saver for people on the go who want to eat breakfast in a hurry.
- It’s about the same price as other toaster ovens which do not support the egg cooking features.
- You can make a full breakfast with a single machine, rather than cluttering up your kitchen with other gadgets.
Disadvantages:
- There are some reports of product defects, but that is normal for any product lines. Nevertheless, do be careful and test out your purchases before using it.
